Favor
The favors are items that are awarded on important occasions such as marriage, first communion, baptism, confirmation, Golden Wedding Anniversary (50 years of marriage), or Silver Wedding (25 years of marriage).
In recent years the use of wedding favors has spread to other ceremonies to celebrate such as the Diploma of Graduation, and birthdays.
The materials most used for wedding favors are silver, crystal, ceramics and porcelain.
For the latter is very popular and sought Capodimonte porcelain. It tends to take useful items that can be used as furnishings (such as small and exquisite ornaments), or which, however, can be used somehow.
All these items are always packed with bags, tulle or strips that contain confetti in odd amounts: 1, 3, 5 or 7 according to the customs of the place.
The color of the same depends on the type of ceremony.
The favors for the ceremonies of the younger ones are usually prepared with boxes, bags or tulle colorful and cheerful, candy containing chocolate or sweets.
With this package it is customary to place a small object with a childish character done in poly resin or porcelain, or in major cases, silver and silver and crystal.
All favors include a printed card with the data of the ceremony (name or names of the festivities, date of the ceremony, other data may be required). The card is chosen according to the type of ceremony. For example, those children will face the childish character designs, those for First Communion will have a drawing of a chalice with the host, those for marriage will have a drawing of a married couple, a pair of wedding rings and so on. There is a very large variety and choice is made watching the appropriate catalogs.
